ICT Teacher - Specialist Provision
Location: Alsager, Cheshire
Salary: £120 - £145 per day
Start Date: April and September 2025 available
Contract: Full-time, Long-term contract

About the Role:
As an ICT Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering students' interest in information and communication technology. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons in ICT, focusing on developing students' technical skills and their ability to apply ICT in a variety of contexts, including their academic studies and daily life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs
- Teach ICT skills that enhance students' digital literacy and prepare them for the modern workplace
- Incorporate a range of ICT tools and platforms to make learning interactive and accessible
- Collaborate with Learning Mentors to provide personalised support and ensure students achieve their potential
- Encourage the use of ICT across the curriculum and help students with their functional skills in this area
- Support students in achieving ICT-related qualifications (e.g., GCSEs, functional skills)
Key Requirements:
- PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A strong understanding of ICT and how to apply it in teaching, especially in a SEND context
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching students with diverse learning needs
