Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment

  • Quickly build rapport with pupils and staff in new school settings

  • Mark and assess pupils' work in line with each school's policy (when required)

  • Adapt to different classroom environments and school cultures with professionalism and flexibility

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • A minimum of one year's experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferred, but ECTs also welcome)

  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment expectations

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils

  • A proactive, organised, and reliable approach to supply teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
