About the Role

Simply Education is looking to recruit a confident and experienced KS2 Supply Teacher to support primary schools across East Kent from September 2025. This full-time role is ideal for qualified teachers with a passion for Key Stage 2 and the flexibility to adapt to new environments.

You will be delivering lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, with no planning or marking required. Please note that expectations may vary depending on the length of the placement and school requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach pre-set lessons across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Uphold high standards of behaviour management
• Adapt quickly to the needs of each school
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching in KS2 classrooms
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and confidence to work in new settings
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• A strong understanding of safeguarding in education
