About the Role

Simply Education is currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Supply Teacher to work full-time in primary schools across East Kent starting from September 2025. This role is perfect for qualified teachers who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working across different year groups.

You will be covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, with no planning or marking required, unless specified otherwise by the school. Please note: depending on the duration and nature of the placement, expectations may vary.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Always maintain strong behaviour management
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning
• Communicate effectively with staff and follow school policies

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Proven experience teaching across primary year groups
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and confident in new settings
• A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
