Maths Teacher - Secondary School - Chester
£150-£200 per day (dependent on experience)
Simply Education is currently recruiting a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work in a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Chester. We have opportunities available for daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements.
This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
- Mark and assess work in line with school policies (for long-term roles)
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive and flexible approach
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
