Maths Teacher - Crewe

We are currently working with a secondary school in Chester to recruit a Maths Teacher for a full-time role, with an additional requirement for ad-hoc supply cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Differentiate learning to support mixed-ability classes

  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider staff team

  • Must-Have Skills

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management

  • Clear communication and strong organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Nice to Have

  • GCSE and KS4 exam experience

  • SEND or intervention experience

  • Experience using data to track and support pupil progress
