French & Spanish Teacher - Secondary Education (MFL)

Location: Folkestone, Kent
Role Type: Long-Term
Salary: Competitive daily rates / MPS-UPS (dependent on role and experience)

We are working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated French & Spanish Teacher to support Modern Foreign Languages departments across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 where applicable).

This role is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are enthusiastic about language learning and inspiring students to develop confidence in both French and Spanish.

The Role:

As a French & Spanish Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons in French and Spanish
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable, not essential)
• Support the development of students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and MFL department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
