Salary - £140 - £220 DOE

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Thanet is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team from April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant music department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to develop their musical skills, confidence and appreciation for music. The school is looking for someone who can bring energy to the classroom and support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

The Role

  • Teaching Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons
  • Supporting students in developing practical and theoretical musical skills
  • Maintaining strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
  • Contributing to the wider school community, including potential extracurricular music activities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passionate about inspiring students through music
  • Able to start April 2026
