The Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will lead and inspire a team of early years professionals, manage operational and administrative functions, and build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community.

They are now seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the team and ensure the continued success of their setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursery team, ensuring a high-quality early years experience for all children

• Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation (EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety)

• Oversee nursery operations including staffing, budgeting, payroll, enrolment, and record-keeping

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote best practice

• Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff

• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, supporting their child's development and well-being

• Support staff development through regular supervision, appraisals, and training

• Ensure effective planning and assessment in line with EYFS frameworks

About You:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting

• Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Organised, reliable, and capable of managing all aspects of nursery operations

• Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and early education

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain)
