Role: SEN Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT)

Location: Weston Favell

Hours: 39 hours per week, term time only

Salary: £28,000+ (TBC on successful application and experience)

Contract: Temporary with the potential for Permanent appointment

If yes, we are looking for you! We have an exciting opportunity in a growing SEND school setting. This state-of-the-art independent school caters to children aged 7-18 with a range of needs including Autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour. As the school continues to grow, they are looking to expand their team to provide even more support for future students!

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND settings.
  • Proven experience in supporting SEN learners.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • A commitment to putting the child first and treating them as an individual.
  • A positive and creative approach to meeting pupils' individual needs.
