Pastoral Support / School Support Staff - Lewisham
Start: After February Half Term
Contract: Agency (until end of academic year)
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Hours: Full-time, term time

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic school support professional to work in a secondary school in Lewisham from after February half term through to the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in pastoral support, behaviour support, mentoring or youth work who is looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.

The role will involve:

• Supporting students with their wellbeing, behaviour and engagement

• Working closely with the pastoral and leadership teams

• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required

• Helping to maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

• Being a positive role model within the school community

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, mentoring or similar)

• A calm, patient and consistent approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
