KS4 Psychology Teacher, Southend, Essex

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and inspiring KS4 Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to contribute to the development of Psychology within the school and to make a positive impact on students' academic progress and personal development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging and inclusive Psychology lessons at Key Stage 4, supporting all students to achieve their full academic potential. You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and a genuine interest in the subject.

This post is available on a part-time basis for candidates teaching Psychology only. A full-time position may be available for applicants who are able to teach an additional subject at KS4. Applicants should clearly state any additional subjects they are able to offer in their application.

  • Have high expectations of all learners and the ability to motivate and inspire

  • Deliver creative, well-structured and engaging lessons

  • Use assessment effectively to support progress and inform planning

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community

  • Be willing and able to teach an additional subject where applicable (please specify)
