Opportunities for Qualified Teachers - Secondary School in Wickford

A thriving secondary school in Wickford is currently seeking fully qualified and enthusiastic teachers to join their dedicated team from September 2025. All roles require a commitment to high-quality teaching, including planning, marking, and attending departmental meetings.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
1. Teacher of MFL (French) - Full Time (Until Christmas, in the first instance)
We are looking for an inspiring French teacher to deliver engaging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time role running until December 2025, with potential for extension.
2. Teacher of MFL (French) - Part Time (Four Weeks)
An excellent short-term opportunity for a part-time French teacher to support the MFL department for a four-week period at the beginning of the academic year.
3. Teacher of Design & Technology (preferably Textiles) - Part Time (3 Days per Week, Ongoing Supply)
A creative and motivated DT teacher is needed to teach Textiles or a related DT subject. This part-time, 3-day-a-week role is on an ongoing supply basis with consistent departmental support.
4. Teacher of Health & Social Care - Full Time (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Social Care teacher for a full-time, fixed-term contract of one academic year. Experience in delivering BTEC or equivalent qualifications is desirable.
Requirements for All Roles:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
Ability to deliver well-planned, engaging lessons
Commitment to marking, planning, and contributing to departmental meetings
