Simply Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Rochester to recruit a passionate and experienced RE Teacher for a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. About the Role
- Full-time RE Teacher position in a secondary school in Rochester
- Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
- Start date: ASAP
- Long-term role with the opportunity for a permanent contract
- Supportive leadership team and strong departmental support
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, track, and report on student progress
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Religious Education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for Religious Studies and helping students grow
- Ability to adapt and integrate quickly into a new school setting
