About the Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Computer Science lessons
Teach key topics including programming, algorithms, and computer systems
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and implement interventions where needed
Take part in school events, clubs, and enrichment activities related to computing and digital literacy
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and programming
Up-to-date understanding of the UK national curriculum for Computer Science
Effective classroom management and the ability to motivate students of all abilities
Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusion
A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to wider school initiatives
Key Expectations:
Promote and model high standards of teaching and conduct
Adhere to all school policies and safeguarding procedures
Engage in ongoing CPD and participate fully in the performance review process
Actively support the school's ethos and strategic priorities
Attend all directed time meetings and contribute to school-wide improvement
