A well-regarded secondary school in Daventry is seeking a dedicated teacher to join its dynamic team from September 2025, inspiring students to explore the ever-evolving world of technology and computing.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Computer Science lessons

  • Teach key topics including programming, algorithms, and computer systems

  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and implement interventions where needed

  • Take part in school events, clubs, and enrichment activities related to computing and digital literacy

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and programming

  • Up-to-date understanding of the UK national curriculum for Computer Science

  • Effective classroom management and the ability to motivate students of all abilities

  • Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusion

  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to wider school initiatives

  • Promote and model high standards of teaching and conduct

  • Adhere to all school policies and safeguarding procedures

  • Engage in ongoing CPD and participate fully in the performance review process

  • Actively support the school's ethos and strategic priorities

  • Attend all directed time meetings and contribute to school-wide improvement

Essential Requirements:
