Simply Education is currently working with an SEMH School for pupils aged 11-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to recruit a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate with support students in a dynamic and nurturing environment creating an engaging and safe learning space. This school is based outside of Wakefield and the position will be a full time permanent position.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
  • A high level of resilience and the ability to manage and support challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
  • A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified teacher status is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and SEND.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
