Simply Education is currently working with an SEMH school in Gainsborough to recruit a dedicated and resilient English Teacher to join their team. This will be a full time position and starting in 2025, the ideal candidate will have experience as a curriculum lead and within the senior leadership as the role will include these responsibilities. You will be a part of a school who aims to change pupils lives for the better through personalised learning and preparation for life.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.

  • Previous experience as a curriculum lead and/or in a senior leadership role.

  • A high level of resilience and the ability to manage and support challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.

  • A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status

  • Strong understanding of SEMH and related behavioural strategies.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
