About the Role
Simply Education is recruiting a resilient, experienced SEMH Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This full-time role is ideal for a Teacher with significant experience supporting children with SEMH or SEN needs, who is committed to making a positive difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to SEMH/SEN pupils.
- Support students to develop confidence, resilience, and self-regulation skills.
- Use restorative and positive behaviour management strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to provide holistic care.
- Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral care initiatives.
About You
- Holds relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent).
- Significant experience working with SEMH or SEN pupils.
- Demonstrates resilience, patience, and empathy in challenging situations.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Passionate about helping students thrive academically and personally.
