Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons tailored to SEMH/SEN pupils.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to support learning, confidence, and social development.
- Assist with behaviour management using restorative and positive approaches.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to provide holistic support.
About You
- Experience supporting children with SEMH or SEN needs in a school or specialist setting.
- Resilient, patient, and empathetic, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and restorative way.
- Passionate about helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN/SEMH support are desirable.
