SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time
Location: Peterborough, UK
Simply Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming SEN school in Peterborough. This is a long-term, full-time position supporting children with a range of special educational needs.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with SEN and who are committed to their own professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with various SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and physical or learning disabilities
- Support the teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour
- Offer one-to-one or small group support to pupils as required
- Assist with personal care tasks
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children with SEN
- Be comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs
- Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable to individual needs
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of all pupils
