Pay: £130 - £150 per day, dependent on payroll choice

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our team. As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised lessons to students with SEND, ensuring that their academic, social, and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education, ensuring that every student is given the support they need to succeed.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEND, using differentiated teaching methods.
- Build strong relationships with students to support their personal and academic development.
- Create and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure their success.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in teaching students with SEND.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEND and strategies to support their learning.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent relationship-building skills.
- The ability to adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Experience working in a special education setting (desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of students with SEND.
