📍 Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas including Leigh-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Benfleet, Basildon and wider Essex

We are currently recruiting dedicated, professional, and adaptable Supply Teachers to support a wide range of primary and secondary schools across Southend and the surrounding areas. Due to increasing demand from our partner schools, we have a variety of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments available.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), or those returning to the profession who are seeking flexibility without compromising on career progression or classroom impact.
The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Teach across KS3 or KS4 (depending on your specialism and preference)
Adapt quickly to new school settings and classroom environments
Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
Follow lesson plans provided by the school (with some planning required for longer-term roles)
Assess and provide feedback in line with school policies
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and leadership teams
Long-term placements may include planning, marking, assessment responsibilities, and parents' evening attendance where required.

Requirements
To be considered, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
Have recent UK classroom experience
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide satisfactory references covering the last two years
Be flexible, reliable, and professional
