Location: Witham, Essex and surrounding schools
Rate: £140 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and flexible qualified teachers to join our network serving primary (and potentially secondary) schools in the Witham area. You will be covering planned teacher absences or short-term gaps, stepping into different classrooms each day. Some highlights:

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and engage pupils in learning

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy

• Adapt quickly to new settings and ensure continuity of learning

• Liaise with school staff about the day's outcomes and next steps

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Previous classroom teaching experience (primary phases preferred: EYFS, KS1, KS2)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Enhanced DBS (or willing to undergo one) + safeguarding awareness Flexibility to accept assignments at short notice
