Job Description:

Simply Education is currently recruiting for dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Uphill Lincoln and surrounding areas. We are seeking individuals with a passion for supporting children's learning and development, who are ready to take on flexible roles in welcoming, well-managed school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1, small group, or general class basis.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and behaviour management.
• Encourage and support pupils in reaching their academic and social potential.
• Work effectively with SEN pupils and those with additional learning needs.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil progress.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience with SEN, EAL or behavioural needs.
