Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and assist pupils in their learning.
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups to help them achieve learning goals.
• Support children with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural challenges.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff to support the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people in any setting.
• A genuine passion for working as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, a can-do attitude, and a caring nature.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.
