1:1 Teaching Assistants - EHCP Support - Gainsborough - September Start

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is currently recruiting for multiple 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in primary schools across Gainsborough. These full-time positions are to begin in September and are expected to continue on an ongoing basis throughout the academic year.

About the Role:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for children with EHCPs in EYFS, KS1, or KS2

• Support learning, social development, and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to meet the needs of individual pupils

• Help implement and monitor targets set within each child's EHCP

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)

• A patient, understanding, and supportive approach

• Confidence in managing behaviour and following tailored learning plans

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
