Role: Teaching Assistant (EYFS/ KS1/ KS2)

Location: Newark-On-Trent and surrounding areas

Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate & Ongoing
Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time, long-term, with potential permanent opportunities
Hours: Full-time 8:30-15:30 | Part-time 8:30-12:30 or 12:30-15:30

Simply Education is partnering with a number of welcoming primary schools in the Newark-on-Trent area to recruit Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible work, long-term experience, or the potential to move into a permanent role. We have positions to suit a variety of needs - whether supporting pupils in the classroom broadly or working 1:1 with children who require extra support, you will be making a difference to their learning and confidence every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with learning in both whole-class and small-group settings
• Deliver 1:1 support to pupils with SEN or additional learning needs
• Assist teachers with preparation and delivery of lessons
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their development

Requirements:

• Experience in a school or similar educational setting
• Reliable, proactive, and patient
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
• CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential
