Job Title: Year 1 Primary Teacher
Location: St Ann's (near Nottingham)
Pay: £160-£220 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long Term / Permanent

Simply Education is working with a supportive primary school in St Ann's that is looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.

This role is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy creating a positive, structured learning environment for young learners at a crucial stage in their education. You'll help pupils settle into Key Stage 1, develop essential literacy and numeracy skills, and grow in confidence as they begin their primary school journey.

The Role

• Lead a Year 1 class and deliver lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum

• Support children's reading, writing, maths, and social development

• Plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

• Monitor progress and adapt teaching to help every child succeed

• Work alongside support staff and parents to provide a positive learning environment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (preferred but not essential)

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Patient, approachable, and committed to pupil progress
