1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Lincoln

Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: Experienced TAs, SEN TAs, support staff, and graduates considering teaching

We are currently recruiting compassionate and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools in Lincoln. You will work closely with individual children who may require additional academic, behavioural, or SEN support, helping them build confidence and reach their full potential.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day

  • Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs

  • Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO

  • Build strong, trusting relationships to support progress

What we're looking for

  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach

  • Understanding of SEN or additional needs (desirable)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable, flexible and proactive attitude
