Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Newark-on-Trent and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time and long-term placements
Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time: 8:30 - 15:30 | Part-time: 8:30 - 12:30 or 12:30 - 15:30

Simply Education are currently working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Newark-on-Trent to recruit 1:1 Teaching Assistants.

Your role will include:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils throughout the school day

• Helping children remain focused, motivated, and confident in their learning

• Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs

• Working closely with teachers to adapt activities and learning tasks

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

• Building strong, trusting relationships that support a child's progress and wellbeing

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in a school setting

• Is patient, positive, and supportive, with a genuine interest in helping pupils succeed

• Communicates effectively and enjoys working as part of a team

• Can adapt to the needs of individual pupils and classroom environments

• Holds a CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
