Location: Congleton, Cheshire
Pay: £88.92 - £100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)
Start Date: September 2025

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to students with SEND. This role is vital in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with a specific student, tailoring support to their individual needs.
  • Assist in delivering personalised learning plans, both academic and vocational.
  • Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with the student, helping them to build confidence and manage their emotions.
  • Support the student in developing essential life skills and working towards qualifications (e.g., SATs, GCSEs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to ensure the student's progress and well-being.

About You
You are a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for helping young people succeed. You should:

  • Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEND or additional needs.
  • Be empathetic, resilient, and capable of managing challenging situations.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
