About the Role As an Art Teacher in Newcastle‑under‑Lyme, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, imaginative lessons that encourage creativity and confidence. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering high‑quality Art lessons across a range of age groups and abilities
Inspiring pupils through a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and projects
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident to explore ideas
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining an organised, well‑resourced art classroom
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
Experience teaching Art within a school setting
A creative, enthusiastic approach to lesson planning and delivery
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
