Chemistry Teacher - Part Time (3 Days) - Dover/Folkestone
Start Date: ASAP / April 2026
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week)
Location: Dover / Folkestone, Kent
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Dover/Folkestone area on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This role focuses on delivering high-quality Chemistry lessons to Year 11 (GCSE) and Year 12 (A-Level) students, following the AQA syllabus. It's a fantastic opportunity for a specialist teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students achieve excellent outcomes.
The Role:
- Teach Chemistry to Year 11 (GCSE) and Year 12 (A-Level)
- Deliver lessons in line with the AQA curriculum
- Prepare students for exams with targeted intervention and support
- Plan, mark, and assess student work effectively
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level
- Strong knowledge of the AQA specification
- Proven ability to support students in achieving strong exam results
- Reliable, organised, and able to commit to a part-time timetable
