Job description
Simply Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and inspiring Qualified Drama Teacher (QTS) to join a dynamic secondary school in Northamptonshire starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative educator to engage students through performance, storytelling, and theatre while developing their confidence and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Encourage creativity, performance skills, and confidence through practical drama activities.
- Prepare students for performances, productions, and assessments.
- Monitor and assess student progress in line with the curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about performing arts and student engagement.
- Can inspire students of all abilities to participate and develop their performance skills.
