Position: Fully Qualified English Teacher
Location: Rugby, CV22 5HR
Salary: Up to £51,763 + Excellent benefits
Contract Type: Fixed Term

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join the dedicated team. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and ideally, experience teaching English. This role requires a deep understanding and enthusiasm for working with SEN learners, recognising that it will be both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the holistic development of each pupil.

  • Monitor and assess student's progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Experience teaching English, preferably within an SEN setting.

  • Strong understanding of SEN and a commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of SEN learners.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy.
