Location: Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Salary: £31,600 - £43,607 per annum

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering the KS1 curriculum and ensuring that pupils receive a strong foundation in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
• Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and interventions
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership to enhance pupil learning outcomes
• Implementing positive behaviour management strategies to create a structured and supportive classroom

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
• Strong understanding of the KS1 national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A passion for primary education and a commitment to supporting young learners
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, depending on your availability
