Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time available for the right candidate)
Salary: £31,600 - £43,607 per annum

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a new teaching opportunity in Grantham? Simply Education is working with a well-established primary school in Grantham to recruit a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from April 2025. This role is perfect for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to develop their skills in a supportive Key Stage 1 setting.

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. Your key duties will include:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupil progress and well-being
• Assessing and monitoring pupil attainment, identifying areas for development and differentiation
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leadership to enhance pupil outcomes
• Implementing behaviour management strategies that support a structured and focused learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1 education
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and primary teaching best practices
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners
• A passion for primary education and a commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, depending on availability
