Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Medway

Simply Education are working with welcoming nurseries across Medway who are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys helping young children learn, develop and thrive.

You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children feel supported and encouraged during these key early stages of their development.

The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will support the day-to-day running of the nursery, working closely with colleagues to deliver engaging activities that support children's learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help create a positive and stimulating environment where every child is able to grow in confidence and develop key early skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities

  • Assisting with planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities

  • Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents

  • Observing and recording children's development where required

  • Helping to maintain a safe, caring and inclusive nursery environment

  • Following safeguarding and nursery policies at all times

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • A caring, reliable and proactive approach
