Maths Teacher - Secondary School - Staffordshire
£150-£200 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time / Part-time | Immediate & Ongoing Roles Available
Simply Education is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to work across a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Staffordshire. Opportunities are available for daily supply, short‑term cover and long‑term teaching positions depending on your preference and availability.
This role is ideal for both experienced Maths Teachers and ECTs who can deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to support pupils preparing for GCSE examinations.

Start Date & Contract Details
- Immediate, April or September start dates available
- Daily supply, short‑term and long‑term contracts
- Temp‑to‑perm opportunities
- Full-time and part-time roles considered
- Contract length dependent on school requirements
Hours & Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 8:15am-3:30pm
- Part‑time Maths teaching options available
Salary & Pay
- £150-£200 per day
- PAYE available
- Pay reflects experience and responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach across KS3 and KS4
- Prepare students for GCSE Maths examinations
- Mark and assess student work in line with school policies (long‑term roles)
- Maintain behaviour expectations and classroom routine
- Support intervention groups and targeted learning
- Contribute to curriculum planning where required
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
- QTS, QTLS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge
- Effective behaviour management
- Flexible, reliable and committed approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
