Simply Education is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Billinghay to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a part-time role. This position is to support in the classroom every morning, Monday to Friday, starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to children's education while maintaining a part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support across the morning sessions, assisting the class teacher with learning activities and routines.

• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives.

• Support children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs.

• Assist in preparing and organising classroom resources.

• Promote a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

• Help manage behaviour and support pupils' emotional and social development.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support learning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within a school setting.

• A patient and proactive attitude.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A good understanding of child development and basic educational support.

This is a part-time role working weekday mornings only (approx. 8:30am-12:30pm).
