1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support - Outskirts of Caistor - September Start

Location: Outskirts of Caistor
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Until at least Christmas)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is looking to appoint an experienced and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with additional needs in a friendly and inclusive primary school near Caistor. This is a full-time role starting in September and will run until at least the end of the autumn term, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS1 learner with specific learning or behavioural needs

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions

• Implement strategies in line with the child's individual learning plan

• Help support emotional regulation and social development

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working 1:1 with SEN pupils is essential

• Understanding of KS1 curriculum and child development

• A patient, calm, and proactive approach to supporting learning

• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset

• A relevant TA qualification is preferred but not essential
