1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1 SEN Support - Outskirts of Market Rasen

Location: Outskirts of Market Rasen
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (September to December, with potential to extend)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is looking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with special educational needs (SEN) in a welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Market Rasen. This full-time role will begin in September and run until at least the end of the autumn term, with a possibility of continuing into the spring term.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS1 learner with identified SEN

  • Assist with academic tasks, emotional regulation, and social interaction

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to deliver personalised support

  • Help implement EHCP targets and track progress

  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 or small group setting

  • Strong understanding of KS1 developmental and learning needs

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to support

  • Good communication and teamworking skills

  • A relevant TA qualification is beneficial but not essential
