1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS1 SEN Support - Louth - September Start

Location: Louth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Until at least Christmas)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a KS1 pupil with additional needs in a welcoming primary school in the Louth area. This full-time position will begin in September and is expected to continue until at least the end of the autumn term, with potential to extend further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs in KS1

  • Assist with academic tasks, behaviour support, and social development

  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions

  • Help implement the child's support plan and monitor progress

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 role

  • Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and strategies for supporting early learning

  • A calm, patient, and supportive approach

  • Ability to build strong relationships with children and staff

  • A relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essential
