Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Simply Education are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in the Stafford area. They are seeking a motivated and dynamic PE Teacher to join their thriving department and inspire students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

Key Duties
Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.
Plan and deliver a variety of sports and physical activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
Provide constructive guidance to enhance student development.
Work alongside colleagues to develop schemes of work and extracurricular opportunities.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to strengthen student progress.
Key Skills & Qualities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and a passion for promoting fitness and wellbeing.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Effective classroom and behaviour management techniques.
Energy and patience, especially when working with students requiring additional support.
Essential Requirements
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching PE in line with the national curriculum.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
Experience assisting students with SEN.
Dedication to broadening access to education.
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and school teams.
