About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated PE Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, inspire students of all abilities, and contribute to our inclusive and high-performing PE department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons in line with the curriculum

  • Promote a positive, active, and healthy lifestyle among students

  • Contribute to extra-curricular sport, clubs, and competitions

  • Assess and track student progress, providing high-quality feedback

  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and uphold school values

  • Work collaboratively with the PE team and wider school community

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or is an ECT with strong potential

  • Has a passion for physical education and student wellbeing

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

  • Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding

  • Is a team player with energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach
