About the Role
As a primary class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, creating a positive classroom environment, and ensuring all pupils make excellent progress. You will play a key role in shaping pupils' academic, social, and emotional development through high standards of education and training.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Contribute to the development of the wider curriculum and school initiatives
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continued professional development in education and training
Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
A passion for delivering high-quality education and training
Strong communication and organisational skills
A commitment to inclusive practice and pupil achievement
