Primary Teaching Assistant (Unqualified)

Pay: £90-£100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Kettering. This role is ideal for someone with some previous experience as a teaching assistant who is passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning and development across the school day. You'll assist in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment, helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with daily lessons and activities

• Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils

• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

• Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation

• Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils

Requirements:

• Some previous experience as a teaching assistant (school-based or similar)

• A genuine interest in working with children

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A flexible, proactive approach to classroom support

• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
