Primary Teaching Assistant (Unqualified)
Location: Northampton
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Contract Type: Full-time and Part-time

We are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some previous experience in a teaching assistant role who is looking to build a career in education.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and help create a positive, engaging learning environment for all pupils. You'll work closely with individual children and small groups to support their academic and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching staff in the classroom with daily activities

• Working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement

• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

• Supporting the overall wellbeing and progress of students

Requirements:

• Some prior experience as a teaching assistant (in a school or similar setting)

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school environment

• A clear and up-to-date enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
