Location: Congleton, Cheshire
Pay: £130 - £150 per day, dependent on payroll choice
Start Date: September 2025

This independent special school in Congleton, Cheshire, supports pupils aged 8-18 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Teacher to join our team. We welcome applicants with any subject speciality or teaching background. As a Teacher at our school, you will work with students who have diverse needs, providing them with a nurturing and individualised learning experience. You will be responsible for creating engaging lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student, supporting both their academic and emotional growth.

As a Teacher (Any Speciality Considered), you will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons across a range of subjects, tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEND.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to support their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to ensure lessons are accessible and engaging for all students.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure that students receive the necessary support.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, making adjustments to your teaching methods to promote success.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEND.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to teaching.
  • The ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the individual needs of students.
  • A desire to work in a supportive, inclusive environment and a commitment to continuous professional development.
